Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Christian Bale looks more like James Brolin than James' own son does?
Yes, Josh Brolin, does favor his father, but Christian Bale is a dead ringer for James Brolin.
I am now on a mission to prove that they are somehow related, because, to me, the resemblance is just too blatant.

Didn't know James Brolin before today, when I watched Westworld (1973 movie); and within minutes paused and googled if James Brolin is related to Christian Bale.
I'm watching Capricorn one and the resemblance is incredible. He's almost more of a clone than a son.
Just got me today, but there are only so many gene combinations today. No doubt everyone has at least one doppelganger now living and hundreds from the past, even across racial groups.
Just watched the movie "Hostiles". I assumed through the whole movie that Josh Brolin was the actor. But no! Christian Bale. Who I never heard of. I actually Googled James Brolin's sons. Thought maybe there was more than one. Amazing!
If there was cloning it started with these 2. The resemblance is staggering to me. Every time I see Christine Bale I have to ask is that James Brolin? I grew up watching James Brolin on Marcus Welby M.D., a t.v. series from a long time back. And you know there are those actors who don't seem to age. But that is not this case. So I want to say there is a man where I used to live that was a dead ringer for Abe Lincoln hands down. That was remarkable too. If James and Christine are not related....then all I can say is, WOW!!!

There are so many actors out there that have doppelgangers! I've concluded maybe it has to do with the sperm banks! You used to be able to sell your sperm! Anyway it is a reasonable conclusion!
Watching the OG Westworld, and yea Bale definitely went in a time machine and called himself James Brolin.
Could be that christian bale is james brolin's doppelganger twin. They say everyone has a twin somewhere.
